What is the CDC up to in Chamblee?
Join the Chamblee Business Association Thursday, August 18th to hear from Angela Wagner of the CDC. Angela Wagner is a Portfolio Manager and the Sustainable Buildings Manager for the Buildings and Facilities Office at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Ms Wagner will be speaking about the sustainability and transportation initiatives at the CDC Chamblee campus.

Did you know that Chamblee is the first city in the State of Georgia to mandate LEED certification for private development?  Chamblee is leading the way with sustainable development.  Our 2011 Taste of Chamblee (www.thetasteofchamblee.com, Sept 17) will include a Sustainability Fair to showcase businesses who provide sustainable products or services.

The Chamblee Business Association is supported through memberships. Meetings are open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. The meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the Chamblee Civic Center, located at 3540 Broad St. Chamblee, GA 30341. Doors open at 7:30am and the program begins at 8:00am. There is no charge for first-time guests, returning guest are $10, and members are $5. A continental breakfast will be served.
