Featured Guest Speaker John (JK) Harris @ the Chamblee Civic Center
John is a native Charlestonian and a graduate of the Moore Business School at the University of South Carolina. He currently resides in Mount Pleasant and runs JK Harris and Company; LLC located in Goose Creek, SC. Harris has started and run 18 companies in a variety of industries and during every type of economic cycle and took JK Harris & Company from “start up” to 325 offices in 43 states with annual revenues approaching $100 million in less than five years. Harris is the founder and CEO of JK Harris & Company, the nation’s largest tax resolution firm and author of new business book, Flashpoint: Seven Core Strategies for Rapid-Fire Business Growth (Entrepreneur Press, 2010).
Harris, a self-described serial entrepreneur, has recently launched a nationwide tour to promote Flashpoints. Crediting much of his success to lessons learned from other entrepreneurs as well as his own experience, Harris has made it his mission to share his knowledge and expertise with business owners and managers across the country through his books and speeches. In Flashpoints, and during his speeches, Harris discusses the seven strategies essential for business growth, regardless of the company or industry. He illustrates his points with real life examples—some humorous and some painful—from his own business experiences. The strategies are interrelated and work together to help any entrepreneur build an unstoppable company.
